Once I had the base of the room I started to model the main assets starting with the cupboards. For the draws I used the ones I made for the desk and manipulated them so they fit into the draw space.
This is the small cupboard which hangs between the fire place and the stairs which will be full of tea cups and plates. The decorative board is built separately form the rest and kept like that so I wouldn't need to attache the two meshes together. After trying this way of modelling- making assists form multiple meshes, I used it many times to avoid spending ages on knitting typology together.
Chair:
This is the chair for the workshop space. I made the backboard the same way as the windows so I managed to retain the detail from the concepts.
Chair UV Mapped:
Ladder:
Kitchen work top:
To make this I duplicated the walls and deleted the wall faces I didn't need and extruded a work top space.
Boarding:
In the Denis Servers house kitchen there was a tiled area by the sink to protect the walls from water and various cooking liquids. I also desired to place a board around the kitchen work top area covering the wall.
Cupboard in the wall:
Following my concept art I have also made a cupboard in the wall and made doors with handles from the draws.
