Animatic with Music:
After sending the animatic to my music composer he returned this draft music score which I think suites the animation very well adding great emphesesi to the pepeines of the character. the music really helps bring the animation alive and gives it a non corporate feel to the piece which is what the client wanted.Reference Film:
To help the speed of the production I deduced to use a rotoscoping over reference film to achieve good timing, spacing, and weight as quickly as possible. The film bellow show the parts of the of the animation which I could act out; the character at the table typing and the over confident walk before the character falls down the hole.
3D Camera Move
In the animatic there is a camera move following one of the arrows towards the tip with rotation of the camera. To achieve this I also decided to use rotoscoping but the reference was created in maya. The camera move rendered out was a little too fast but I will duplicate the frames so the animation works on 2s or 3s.
Animation from Rotoscoping:
This is the animation created form the reference material created. I hand drew this in photoshop using the time line and video laters. once these outlines have been completed i will send them to my music composure so that he can compose while i add colour and backgrounds. the reason that the production has been scheduled like this is so that our time is utilised to the best advantage. to compose the music accurately to the actions of the character the animation didn't need to be in colour so this seemed to be the best arrangement.
Animation ready for music composition:
This is the animation which I sent to my music composure so that he can start to compose a score and add a voice over. Some of the elements in this video are simply composited in to simply aid the composing process and will be altered for the final animation.
